R. K. Burt and Company Ltd. is a leading London based wholesale paper supplier and distributor and was the first to introduce and supply fine art papers in bulk to the UK.

Our initial range included the now familiar mill names such as Arches, Fabriano, Hahnemühle, Lana and Rives.

The RKB Gallery was created in November 1999 in our Grade Two listed Union Street site.  Its nearly 1000 square feet of exhibition space in Southwark, a fast changing area of London which has seen many recent developments. Read more...

Arches for Oil introduced - a Not/CP surface, 100% cotton paper designed for all oil techniques without the need for frames and Gesso preparation commonly required with canvas.

Canson Mi Teintes Touch introduced - a very finely textured sanded pastel paper with a fine grit surface primer in 14 colours.
Designed for dry pastel, Mi-Teintes® Touch can also be used for oil pastel, pencil, charcoal and acrylic.

Hahnemühle Sketch Diary. These spiral bound notebook have blank pages on the right hand side for your drawings and images, whilst the left hand page is lined so you can record your own notes about your thoughts and observations.
