RKB Gallery
|
||
| The RKB Gallery was created in November 1999 in our Grade Two listed Union Street site. It offers degree level
art students nearly 1000 square feet of exhibition space in Southwark, a fast
changing area of London which has seen recent developments such as the Globe
Theatre, the
Jerwood Space gallery and, not least, the
Tate Modern.
In addition, the recent opening of the Jubilee line extension has greatly
improved accessibility from most parts of the city.

The Gallery offers a unique opportunity for
students to learn the sometimes painful process of marrying their creative
skills to the demands of the commercial world. Dedicated to promoting 'works on
paper', the gallery provides a space for the student to gain an insight into
how an exhibition is created including responsibility for advertising,
curating, hanging and staffing.
